After my health issues were forcing me into some type of tuck and roll movement for me to even get off the settee I thought I better get myself back to the experts and get some better painkillers. I had to laugh whilst there today as I was in the waiting room and the people sitting next to me were talking about why they are going to see the doctor. (I’m not a fan of ear wigging but I do not have the ability to turn off my ears on demand) So they reel off a list of symptoms and before you know it they have diagnoses in the waiting room, of cause the diagnosis was not that of a cold but something more dramatic, pneumonia... I thought the lady was going to call her husband and get the hospital bag packed; the ladies face was a picture when she came out and the doctor reassured her it was in actual fact just a cold, she was ecstatic… about having a cold haha! All that worry came from well 'Mary’s husbands friends sister had the same symptoms and she was in hospital for three weeks with (Dom Dom Dom diagnosis time) Pneumonia’. Did make me think how much people worry unnessascarly. Yep friends like that along with google are a Hypochondriacs dream
So I got my broken body fixed, well numbed anyway and I have my smile back, managed to finally get in a run since Saturday that’s to the new kick ass painkillers. Been cracking on all day again today in updating the website, I am really getting into this ad word thing and how to research the most common words searched on the internet for the month. I’m multi tasking and finishing the last batches of wine glass orders as I write this blog. GMC are now in a position to pay people to make the wine glasses which is great, helps them, helps me, everyone wins! Well as long as we keep getting the orders in. For the time being business is great I'd like to keep it that way only time will tell? We have some great events coming up in the Christmas period that I am really looking forward to that involve the wine glasses. The one I am most excited for is the East Midlands airport event; they are putting together a Christmas market in aid of the wishes for kids’ flight that is going to Lapland. I can’t wait to see their faces when they get extra money to spend with Santa! So I am busy stocking up for event.
Sam (Auntie Sam) dropped me off a very professional looking piece of apparatus today (THANKYOU)... now i look the full part of business Lady with my laptop pull along briefcase (full blown gayness) ... now i just need to ditch the 'i am only wearing this because it is the only thing that is ironed' look. Me and Sam have been discussing rotas and sharing responsibilities throughout the businesses so it means I can have a set day to be booked out for business and likewise for her. All part of the streamline for GMC. A lot of sleep is sacrificed but I made a promise to my son and I don’t make promises I don’t keep; so next year we are going to Disney and we will be eating breakfast with Mickey mouse.. Sweating our faces off whilst riding on dumbo, spinning in the teacups until we are sick and driving around in what he describes as a ‘wicked awesome’ car track.
Its now 3am and I must get on with some sleep I have 4 hours before sam comes home. Tomorrow is exciting for us- face book shop-(YAY) need the sleep to focus. I love going to GMC head quarters, I walk in and am greeted with a gayer dance or something just as funny. We need to discuss health and saftety, we had two trips over computer wires yesterday and today sam got hit on the head and covered in dry candle wax whilst trying to get out some paints. Funny and serious all at the same time… Teething issues- getting used to our new surroundings that is all.
