Hippie HQ day 6

I’m going to start today with yet another awkward moment . As all mums will be aware you can not control what comes out of our Childs mouth, I was unloading the Wineglasses from the car when a man walks past wearing an I would say is a cool hat, however my son did not share the same opinion. Sam shouts as loud as he could, ‘hey man, why are you wearing a silly hat you look like a SMURF.... smurfs dance, do you?’ Sam then decides to break out in what I assume is an impression of a smurf dance (I had never seen him do this before to give you a visual it involved him smacking his bum and a lot of waving his arms in the air) it was awkward, the man did not embrace the dance and join in ( I would have) he simply ignored the fact sam was doing it and carried on walking. I have to be honest I did laugh it must have been a nervous reaction, I did correct sam though and say he could not have been a smurf, he wasn’t blue and he probably shouldn’t be saying that to people because it’s not very nice.
Samantha joined GMC yesterday, it was great to work with someone again and especially Sam we have a great working relationship, she is the one to introduce the word 'GAYER'. We do a lot of high-fiving, victory dancing and 'gayer' dancing to show when we are proud of what the other has achieved... (You crossed the road and didn’t get run over... high five) We spent the morning with the Website designer of Pack-Kit learning lots of things we can do to have a bigger impact on the internet. We are streamlining all projects at the moment and looking into ways to save time, it has been so busy on our side that me, Jamie and Sam have had to sync goggle calendars. There has been so many nights in the past that the only time we can conference call is 12.30 am we know we can not sustain that. We all work equally as hard and all share the same work ethic. We also know when one needs a break so we have arrange a cinema trip or DVD night (No more drinking every weekend, my body severely malfunctions after alcohol and I loose around two days). The hardest thing for any of us to do is take a break, something we are working on. We have a bigger picture and we have sacrificed a lot of things in our life’s to try and achieve this, working hard now to play harder later. We all pitch in to make this work, if I have to attend a networking event or evening meeting Jamie or Sam will be looking after Sam (little Sam), It is the only way this will work, I realise how lucky I am to have the family and friends that I do.

Someone asked me this week how do I do it, stay awake to work, the answer, red bull...Though Lack of sleep has meant that I have premature eye bags, as I am one for solving a problem there's this amazing invention called sunglasses, they work for me, even in the rain, im not taking them off, im good :) ..... Someone did also ask this week (cheers Tony) if I was 32..... Another sign that I need more sleep.

On that note, night from Hippie Hq, have a great weekend!
