Day 5 Hippie HQ

Within Greasley Management Company We have many issues that we have to tackle on a daily basis as the internet is changing everyday in the way it is structured. Face book is fast becoming the new google with what I hear 22 % of online traffic across the world is generated via face book (I know what you’re thinking... wow I really wanted to know that useful piece of information). 22% is massive and google know this and are ready with a similar version of face book called google plus. Like most business we also have issues to tackle with some suppliers, Basically people lie to you on delivery dates, you place an order, be told you will receive by a certain day, that day arrives, stock hasn’t come, you ring the supplier, they cough out a Bad lie about why it can not be delivered... The business world as I have been finding out works on who shouts the loudest, (I have a problem of being to nice... so I am told anyway... I was told I need to shout more in order to get results?!?!? .. Eh?) Again I believe every problem can be solved with a little imagination, so I have taken note of this constructive criticism and started looking at ways I can self develop and get tougher; So I have the solution... If I have a problem with people not delivering on time I am diarising them and calling them back on PMT week, Never underestimate the effects this can have on a woman.
SO Today was just a normal hectic day at hippie hq, making and baking glasses, emailing, project two, washing (boo) more-lingerie-today orders, pack-kit orders... oh even updated my brochures and wholesale lists too! Went and said happy birthday to the lovely Rach and dropped of some gayer presents, We go back a long way, I am so proud that she put herself through Uni with two young kids and achieved her nursing degree, Qualified for two years and is nearly at her band 6 post and is immigrating to aussie, 100 percent behind you..No really when your plane is taking off I will be running down the runway after you :) X
Picked up sam and went to see a friend of mine James and his girlfriend Mel, they cooked me a beautiful dinner; They have what we call ‘Movie Love’, something a few of my friends have already... Yes it is a little Gay but lets face it we all search for this type of love in life (This is why so many of us are single, we believe that its all going to happen like it does in the movies when in actual fact we are more likely to have someone be sick on our shoe, if that happens to you, well done, you now feel 'comfortable' with each other and are classified as dating!). So Mel lived in Australia, she has saved for the last two years and last month arrived in England, Mel and James only met each other face to face at the airport, just pictures and internet before that, they understood if they didn’t like each other (they obviously do) Mel would just get back on a plane and go on home but they both then knew that they had took that chance and wouldn’t ever say what if...
Again another example of how useful the internet can be- it can even get you a partner. Even if you meet someone in the real world, they ask your name and do their research on you... research being a replacement word for STALK. It’s ok though the 21st century single people have become used to this now and some even ask 'so did you get all the information you needed to decide whether you like me or not when you did your face book stalk? (crb check)... yeah I did, you didn’t have a good profile picture so I have decided that I don't want to be sick on your shoe'. Whilst we are on the internet subject, Pokes on facebook...what the hell are they about? Wait I have this amazing thing called google I will check- (copy-paste)“When we created the poke, we thought it would be cool to have a feature without any specific purpose. cool?????????????? Like I said before the internet world is a mine field and very different from the real one... in the real world if you were in a bar would it be ‘cool’ to walk up to a person and randomly POKE them .. and then when they turn around and say what ARE you doing you say... i dunno you make up your own meaning?!?!?!?!?
